Violent Death

 A young man, Derek, had been murdered.  Shot to death in front of his house. Derek's girlfriend Beth was nearly out of her mind with grief.   We got a message from Beth's mother, Susan.   She wanted to know if Ben could help.  I didn't really know what we could do.  I didn't know what anybody could do at a time like that. But I agreed to let her talk to Ben.  We weren't really talking, just sending instant messages.  As was our normal practice I would listen to what Ben had to say and then type it for the questioner to read.

Susan told us that Beth and her younger sister Patrice and were getting text messages from Patrice's boyfriend Ted.  Evidently Ted has some psychic ability because he said he was seeing Derek  and a scary black entity that said its name was Legion.   

BEN:  I could see what Ted saw and I knew it wasn't dangerous but Ted said it was sucking up all his energy. 

Donya: I thought I was telling this story.  

BEN:  I'm just filling in a little bit from my point of view. 
 
 Donya:  Okay.  Anyway Ted said that the dark entity was hurting Derek too.  

BEN:  But I knew what was really happening.
 
D: Ted was saying that the entity was using Derek to get to Beth because it wanted to kill her and take her light.  I got the impression everyone was pretty frightened and upset.  Fortunately Ben stepped up and took stock of the situation. 
And then he said, "Everyone has to calm down!"  

BEN:  I said that because nobody can make sense when they are freaking out.  I told them to listen to me. 

D: Then he said,  "Okay now let me see what's going on here."  The next thing he said took both Susan and me by surprise.  He said,  "Looks like Beth invests too much energy in men who make trouble."  Susan agreed that was probably the case.  Ben continued,   "Nobody is going to kill Beth or take her Light.  It feels like that is what is happening because she is so unhappy and so afraid.  What she feels like she is losing is what she has already given away.  She needs to start reclaiming herself and her energy and her soul." 

And then Susan asked,  "Yes, but what is this thing that Ted is seeing with Derek,  and this dark energy he is getting messages from?"

BEN:  I had to explain.  Because I could see what it really was and they could only see from their  3D perspective. 

D:  Ben said, "It's some baggage he has left over from all the negativity he was involved in while he was alive."

D: But Susan wasn't buying it.  She said, "But Ted is hearing messages from it."

BEN:  But I can see energy and I know what's going on when spooky entities appear.

D: Ben said,  "Something in Ted must be connecting to it on a vibrational level.  It's not like some sort of separate monster.  It's just projections from Derek's own emotions and belief systems."

D: Susan said,  "Ted feels like his energy is being drained by them.  He's getting very weak."

D: Ben was matter-of-fact.  He said,  "Ted and everyone else involved needs to raise their vibrational level and let go of every kind of negativity."   He continued,  "Everybody has to let go of every kind of negative emotion and stop thinking about how sad and angry they are.  It's hard, but your negative emotions are feeding that dark energy cloud.   Negative energy works like a vacuum and sucks up all the energy around it.  It does make people feel drained." 

D:  Ben explained,  "Nothing over there has any power to take anything you don't give it."   He added,  "Beth needs to work really hard at not giving herself away."  

D:  Then  Ben said he was going to talk to Derek and see if there was anything he could do to help on that side.  It was only a matter of seconds before he reported back.   "Derek is unhappy and confused. He doesn't want to be dead.  He didn't want to leave Beth or his friends.  He is angry and frightened.”  

D:  Ben continued, “Derek believes he was not a good person and he believes he will be punished eternally and he doesn't think he was bad enough to deserve that but he thinks that is what happens to bad people when they die and he is very resentful that he should have to be punished eternally for just a few years of being sort of bad.  Not even that many years.” 

D: Ben reported to us as he conversed with Derek.  "I'm explaining to him that he wasn't all that bad, and that he isn't going to be punished.  People learn all sorts of things about what happens after death and most of them are silly."

D: A couple seconds later he said,  "I'm telling Derek that he can let go of the past.  And that all his old friends and family members and animals and people from his past lives are waiting to greet him."  

D:  Susan joined in.  "Exactly.. Derek.. your mom is waiting to see you.   You need to go see your mom and be in the light and then you can help Beth deal with her grief without harming her." 

BEN:  I had already explained to Susan that dead people can't hang around too long because they take energy from the people they are "haunting."   People who are terribly emotional about their own death use up huge amounts of energy that living people need.  I wasn't so bad.  I did stay around for nearly a year before I crossed over but I wasn't full of negative emotions.  I was mostly having fun and tying up some unfinished business.  Even so, Donya was feeling her energy severely depleted by the time I crossed. 

D:  A few seconds later Ben reported,  "Derek  is starting to cry. He wants to see his mom and his other people.  He is sorry to leave Beth and he wants her to be okay."

D: Susan offers words of encouragement.  Derek,  "This darkness only has power if you give it power don't do it.. don't give the darkness power over you!"

D: Susan explains that Beth wants to talk to him but she needs to work through her grief.  She needs all her energy to do that. 

D: Ben reports: I'm explaining how I crossed over so I could be nourished by the Source and not have to take energy from the people I love. 

D:  Susan continues.  "Derek, Beth wants you to see your mom and to receive healing from the life you had and feel the love you deserve to feel on that side.  Then you will  be able to aid her after you have moved over to the higher vibrations." 

D: Ben is telling Derek,  "And now I can come back and be helpful to my loved ones without hurting them." 

D:  He explains to us, "I'm telling Derek he can do that and he will be surprised that everything is working out the way it's supposed to.  Ben adds, "Everyone else will learn that when it's their turn to cross over." 

D:  There is a pause and then Ben says, "He's calmer now. He wants to move forward. He is letting go of the big black scary thing." 

D:  Susan wants to know what will happen to the big dark entity.

D:  Ben explains.  "He sees that it is just a big thought form that he has been thinking for so long it was becoming real.   It's his. He is letting it melt away. 

D:  Ben adds,  "Ted might have one of his own that was connecting to Derek's.  Ted might be building an even bigger one if he is thinking thoughts of revenge and wanting to get even and make someone pay." 

D:  Susan asks Ben about the dark entities.  "Okay so it is from the build-up of negative thoughts about yourself that ends up with you giving it power in your life? 

D: Ben agrees.  "Yes and they take the form that you learn about in your culture or religion.  A lot of people think they are demons or monsters."

D:  He reports back from Derek. " Derek says he wants to go home.  He wants to know if he can come back and start over.  He wants to know if he and Beth can be together in another life time?"  Ben pauses and then, "Derek had a funny thought. He said what if Beth had a baby and it was him.  He wants to know if he could do that.   I'm telling him that all the answers will be there for him when he crosses over."

D:  There is a short pause and then Ben tells us,   "Derek  says he isn't afraid now.  He loves Beth and all his friends and he wants them to be positive and fill their hearts with so much love there is no room for hate.  He'll come back and visit after he crosses over and he wants everyone to look for him in happy moments and beautiful places."  

D:  Suddenly Susan wants Beth to hear Derek to say those words, but Ben intervenes.  "It's a fresh wound and it will need time to heal.  Derek says he is going to be in her dreams and in all they places they love and when she is ready she will feel his presence."  

D:  Derek explains to Susan, "Beth  can't hear me now.  I've tried.  All I can do is soak up energy and make her feel weary and hopeless.  I'll visit her in her dreams and I'll come back often. She can talk to me and I'll hear her." 

D:  Susan offers to bring Beth to the computer so Derek can type to her but again Ben says no. "This is not the right time.  Derek is going home. I'll walk with him and help him find the way.  He'll be back and Beth can talk to him herself.  When she is ready. Tell her what he said and when she is ready she will believe."

D:  Derek takes leave of Susan,   "You are good people, Susan. I'll remember you.  Tell Beth I'll be back and she will be happy to see me."

BEN:  I walked with Derek to the edge of the Timeless, Spaceless Place.  I could see his mother and his friends, and a lot of people who used to be old,  waving and shouting greetings to him.   He squeezed my hand and started running toward them .  I watched the sticky black cloud he left behind melt into nothing. 

D:  Almost immediately another message arrived from Susan.  "Ted just messaged Patrice that the blackness and Derek are gone from him but he sees a little boy named Immanuel."   Ben laughed.  "Ha!  Derek is already planning his next life."
