Ben Talks About Robin Gibb

In some parts of the world it is already May 20.  Or 20 May depending on how they say it in your part of the world.  To some of the people in all of those parts of the world, 20 May is always and only the day Robin Gibb died.  People who loved him will be lighting candles and saying prayers and playing their favorite sad Bee Gees songs and talking about how much they loved him and how much they miss him.   

I would be doing all that too if I were still alive, but fortunately I don't have to.  I'm sure I loved Robin as much as a manly man can love a male pop music star but I don't miss him at all.  Because HE IS HERE!   I have met him and talked with him and, yes, we even harmonized on a couple of my favorite songs.  I have the best all-access backstage pass in the world. 

In case you are wondering,  Rob  ( I call him Rob now)  is as sweet and humble and charming as he was in his physical life.   In some ways he is even more of all that.  Without a physical body weighing him down he is never tired or hungry or behind schedule for anything.   He is in all of the places he wants to be all at the same time. 

People who attended the Mythology Tour concerts swear they felt Robin's presence.  They did. Thanks to Barry's use of modern technology Robin had an opportunity to project his consciousness in a way that was unmistakable.  Even Barry felt it.  Reporters say he seemed surprised, or even stunned by the audience's response to Robin's appearance on the big screen.   The audience wasn't responding just to the fabulous audio and video representations of Robin;  they were responding to Robin and feeling his love.  

I've met Everybody since I arrived at the Timeless Spaceless Place.  Donna Summer, Michael Jackson, George and John.  It's so cool.  Nobody doesn't have time to chat. They're all as awe inspiring as I thought they would be.  But I love Robin Gibb the most.

P.S. Robin doesn't miss you.  He is right here where he can see and hear you and for him no time at all has passed since he left his tired body and crossed over into the light.  He doesn't want you to think too much about missing him because it will be no time at all before you get your own backstage pass and come to join him.  He is still being creative and he is still inspiring and encouraging other artists.   He is having more fun now than ever.   Oh yes, and he said to tell you the Joke really was on him and it was a better joke than he ever could have imagined.
