Ben Loves Music

Ben loved music when he was alive.  He enjoyed listening to a wide variety of musical genres and many different artists.  He also enjoyed singing and, from what he tells me, was quite accomplished.   Having been of a certain age when he died, Ben naturally enjoyed the popular rock bands  dating back to the 1960s, and their predecessors.  He also enjoyed black gospel, country, jazz, R&B and classical.   Once when I was listening to Youtube videos I asked if there was anything he wanted to hear and he said yes.   He tried to tell me the name of a song but all I could get was It's a Long way to w.  I did a google search and finally found a song that contained the line, It's a long way to where I'm going.   It was It's a Long Way There by the Little River Band.  That was the one he wanted to hear and I could feel his enjoyment as he listened.  However, for over fifty years, the Bee Gees were Ben's favorite band.  His  most recent blog post is about Robin Gibb, who officially died a year ago today.   Of course as far as Ben is concerned Robin is no more dead than Ben is.
